Targets¶
Targets let you track assets, manage discovered vulnerabilities, perform retests, and generate remediation reports as proof of fix.
Managing Targets¶
The Targets view provides a centralized inventory of assets that have been assessed. Each target lists its associated findings with risk severity, status, and last updated timestamps. Filter by status (Open, In Retest, Remediated, False Positive, Accepted Risk) or severity (Critical, High, Medium, Low) to focus on what matters.
Retesting Findings¶
After a vulnerability has been remediated, select findings and use the Retest button to verify the fix. Sable re-runs the relevant checks against the target and updates the finding status based on the results.
- Retest individual findings or batch retest all open findings for a target
- Compare results across assessment runs
- Findings are automatically updated to Remediated or remain Open
Vulnerability Status Tracking¶
Each finding maintains a full status history timeline showing every state change, who made it, and when. Statuses include Open, Accepted Risk, In Retest, and Remediated, giving you a complete audit trail of how a vulnerability was handled from discovery to resolution.
Remediation Reports¶
Generate a Remediation Report to provide documented proof that findings have been addressed. The report summarizes endpoints tested, the number of findings remediated, and the date of verification.
