Methodology builder

Methodologies allows users to integrate their exact workflow into Sable so it executes reconnaissance and exploitation exactly the way you want it to. Start by hitting the plus button in the top left of the methodologies page and give it a title. Methodology text is a direct prompt to Sable that it will use to flavor the assessment.

We suggest you include information such as requests permitted per second, tools that you prefer and a general idea behind how you hack. For example, some people like to look for sinks and parameters, tell this to Sable! After outlining our prompt, we recommend establishing some tasks for Sable to complete.

Creating tasks for a methodology

These will populate when the assessment is started and will lock in certain things. I like to give a 1-2 sentence description of what exactly I want for the initial stage of the assessment, such as using katana and warw00f, etc.

Selecting a methodology during assessment configuration

Once we have our prompt and our starting tasks, we just create/save the methodology and select it when we configure our assessment.
